Schedule Change: Newcastle vs Throckmorton is set for Sat. at 3:00 Varsity girls, 4:15 Varsity boys

Due to icy roads and parking lots around the school and throughout the community, TCISD will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, January 28. This closure includes all before- and after-school activities. This decision was made with the safety of both our students and staff in mind. We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to the city and county for their efforts in clearing roads and sidewalks. Thank you for your understanding.

The varsity games has been rescheduled: Throck @ Newcastle Thursday January 29 6:00pm Girls 7:15pm Boys

Weather and road conditions remain unsafe across Throckmorton CISD. As a result, we will be closed Tuesday, January 27th. This closure includes all before and after school activities. Stay warm and safe!

Newcastle game 1/27 has been changed to Wednesday, 1/28. 6 varsity girls 7:30 varsity boys. We will still be monitoring the road conditions.

Throckmorton CISD Update: The sun is out today and road crews are working throughout the area. We are continuing to monitor road conditions and will make a decision about school for tomorrow later this afternoon. Thank you for your patience.

Dear TCISD Greyhound Family,

Due to the extreme cold temperatures and hazardous conditions forecasted for our area, Throckmorton Collegiate ISD will be CLOSED on Monday, January 26, 2026.

This decision was made to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and community as temperatures are expected to drop in the single digits. All classes, buses, and extracurricular activities are cancelled for the day.

Our members of the National Honor Society had the privilege to attend the Dallas Mavericks Leadership day. Leadership Day was a seminar provided by the leaders behind the scenes to provide insight into the aspects of leadership for the Dallas Mavericks.
