See what is coming up next week at TCISD!

Please help the Throckmorton County 4-H by bringing canned foods to the school this coming Monday. There will be a box in the front office for canned items. Please help our 4-H students and our community food bank by donating what you can.

We want to congratulate our JH girls cross country team for their many successes this season. These girls worked extremely hard and, under the leadership of Coach Shield, were able to come away with seven first place finishes out of nine races. One of these first place finishes won them the district championship. We are extremely proud of each of these girls, and we thank them for representing TCISD in such a positive way!

Parents and Guardians,
Please drop your child off at the north drop-off area or the "Hug Zone" at the front door of the school each morning. We are no longer allowing parents to come into the building during breakfast to help keep the building secure and to follow our new safety guidelines. This procedure also helps build independence in our students. After parents say goodbye at the door, our staff will assist students to the cafeteria and help them get their breakfast and open milk, yogurt, etc. if needed. Older siblings may help smaller siblings if they like. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping keep our students safe.
Sincerely,
Rhonda Riley

At 1:33pm today our fire alarm system began to alert a suspected fire in the new building. This was caused by dust being blown into the sensor while construction was taking place in one of our mechanical rooms. There is no fire emergency. The building was cleared and all rooms, hallways, and corridors were swept for signs of trouble.
Our staff and students responded appropriately, and we are now safely back in the building.

We're excited to host the district's very first pep rally in the new gym today at 3:30pm! Parents, please be advised that we will be allowing students to dismiss directly from the gym. All elementary (PK-5) teachers will have a class roster with them, and parents must meet with their child's teacher to sign them out at the end of the pep rally. Secondary (6-12) will sign out with Mrs. Collins in the gym foyer at the end of the pep rally. All other students will return to class with their assigned teacher until dismissal time.
