Our summer athletic event schedule has been created and released by Coach Lowery. Please take a look and mark your calendar if your child is participating in one of our youth camps or will be involved with the summer strength and conditioning program!

Mrs. Brown uses different learning styles to teach our smart little Kinders!

Please join us this evening at 6:00pm in the auditorium for the baccalaureate ceremony in honor of the graduating class of 2024!

We have made a calendar change for May 17th. We will be releasing school at 12:45pm that day. This change is being made in order to provide time for our graduating seniors and families to get prepared for the graduation ceremony taking place that evening.

As a part of Teacher Appreciation Week, we would like to highlight our Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers! Lisa Everett, Patrick Delaney, Becky Gage, and Rudy Leal work to prepare our students for successful careers in the areas of agriculture, ag mechanics, business, and manufacturing/design. Our kiddos have opportunities to work with some amazing teachers learning skills that can help them in their pursuits after high school graduation.
Region 9 Education Service Center recently put together a CTE Spotlight video featuring Throckmorton's CTE teachers. Check it out by following the link below!

Congratulations to seniors Robert Jorgensen and Gage Beaver for successfully passing their EPA Section 608 Universal certification exam today.
These two young men have worked hard to achieve their certification, and they are now certified to legally work with and handle refrigerants for all HVAC-R system types and sizes.
This certification is a culmination of their dedication to post-secondary education through Cisco College. This is a lifetime certification that can go a long way towards securing an entry level position within the HVAC-R service and installation industry.
Please congratulate these two young men! They will also be participating in Cisco College's Certificate Ceremony next Friday in Abilene at 6:00pm!
We couldn't be more proud of their accomplishments!!!

Elementary parents- we received notice yesterday evening that we are limited on the number of parents allotted for our school 's field trip tomorrow. Please note we are at maximum capacity for the number of parents allowed and parents that have not already notified us that they will be attending will not be admitted by Kid Zania. We apologize and will definitely take this into consideration when we plan a field trip in the future.
Thank You,
Mrs. Riley

Don't forget the send off for track and golf teams will be Friday 5/3 morning at 945am!

Today is Principal Appreciation day, and we wanted to make sure that we express the gratitude and pride that we have in our two wonderful principals, Mrs. Rhonda Riley and Mrs. Kristina Gaspar.
Each of these leaders works tirelessly to ensure that our kiddos have the very best educational experience possible. Mrs. Riley and Mrs. Gaspar have worked together to create multiple opportunities for our students to learn and grow in a positive and supportive learning environment.
Please be sure to reach out to your child's principal and thank them for the work that they're doing! As we close this school year out and look to begin making preparations for the new year, it is the input and passion of our principals that is the essential component of our district's success. We're sad to see this year end, but we're extremely excited about the new and wonderful things that we have in store for 2024-2025!
