📢 Exciting Update on Our New School Build!
As many of you have seen, the old elementary school is now completely demolished. The demolition crew is currently working to haul off the remaining materials and will soon begin breaking up and removing the slab.
Once this phase is complete, Raydon Construction will return to begin the grading process. This step is crucial, as it will create a gradual slope from College Street to the new building site.
We’re making great progress, and many exciting changes are happening with the build process. The community will soon start to see the vision come to life as we move closer to the final product.

TCISD parents, did you know that you have online access to all of the district's book catalog? If you are wanting to search through what books the district has available to support your child's reading, please navigate to the district website, click menu, click departments, then click on Library. In the library website, you'll find a link to view the online catalog. You can also find a link that will allow you to search book titles to see where they associate with the Accelerated Reader program! We want to help you support your child's love of reading, and these two resources are a great way to start this process!
Please note we will not be accepting or delivering Valentines on Feb. 13th this year. We hope this will encourage families and friends to create new traditions and enjoy spending time together on Valentines Day! Thank you for your understanding and support with this matter.

Lady Hounds win against Perrin! Hounds came up short! We are proud of both teams!
We have another busy week coming up!
Our HS girls and boys basketball game against Garner has been rescheduled for tomorrow (1/11/2025). The girls game will begin at 6:30pm, followed by the boys.
We have communicated the fact that our departure from Throckmorton is dependent upon the end of our county show and sale. We anticipate our bus to leave at 4:30pm.
We will communicate any changes to this schedule. Thank you all for your understanding, and please drive safely if you choose to come out in support of our basketball teams!

Good morning TCISD community. Due to the inclement weather that we are experiencing, TCISD will be closed today. We will return to school on Monday (1/13/2025). All extracurricular activities associated with the school are also canceled for today. Please check back for decisions about Friday's events.

🚨 Weather Update for TCISD Families 🚨
We are closely monitoring the weather forecast as winter weather is expected to move into Throckmorton early Thursday morning (1/9/2025). TCISD administration are actively making plans to ensure the safety and security of our students and staff.
As of now, TCISD is planning a delayed start tomorrow:
School Start: 10:00am
School Release: 4:15pm
Please be aware that if weather conditions worsen, there may be a need to cancel school altogether. We will make a final decision by no later than 8:00am Thursday morning and will notify all families through our district app and social media outlets.

Good morning TCISD!
The demolition crew has started the process of bringing the old elementary building down. As a result, we have had to block the alley way that comes off of College Street (See image below). The parking lot to the north of the old high school is still accessible. but everyone will need to access it via the driveway that circles around behind the old gym. The alley will be closed throughout the entire demolition process. Please make plans to avoid this area until notified by the district. Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation with this!
