Our PTO knows how to make our teachers feel extra special! Today, they rolled around the school with their Dolly Carton handing out refreshing drinks to our teachers and staff!
It’s the little things that can make a BIG difference, and we are so thankful for the time, thought, and love our PTO pours into our school family.
Thank you for keeping our teachers refreshed, appreciated, and smiling! We are so lucky to have the BEST PTO!

Students gathered in the gym for see you at the pole. Each student came together in prayer for our school, our students, our teachers, and our community.
What a way to start the day with faith, fellowship, and prayer!

Staff Spotlight
We are excited to shine the spotlight on our Science teacher, Mr. Kyle Youngblood!
Teaching 4th–7th grade Science, Mr. Youngblood brings learning to life and encourages our students to stay curious, ask questions, and explore the world around them. From hands-on activities to discovering how things work, our students are gaining valuable knowledge and having fun along the way!
We are so thankful to have Mr. Youngblood as part of the Throckmorton ISD family and appreciate the time, energy, and passion he pours into our students each day!
Thank you for helping our Greyhounds learn, explore, and grow!

Let’s show our support as we send off the Pups and Greyhounds as they head out to take on the Rule Bobcats!

3rd Grade had a guest speaker visit today! Local rancher, Tucker Brown, came and spoke to the students about the life of a rancher. Mrs. Ridgley's students have been selected for a Texas Tech research study on the use of the book Hank the Cowdog. The study requires them to have a guest speaker, who is a local rancher, to explain life on the ranch.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused and will keep you posted for the reschedule date!
Thank you
STAFF SPOTLIGHT!
Today we are excited to shine the spotlight Joshua Gonzales or as everyone else knows him as "Chochie"
Chochie is someone who knows Throckmorton not only as a place to work, but as home!
A proud recent Throckmorton continuer graduate, he chose to come back to the community that helped shape him and give back by serving our students in the cafeteria.
We are so thankful for people who choose to invest their time, talents, and hearts right here in their hometown. His decision to return and serve the next generation of Greyhounds is something our community can be proud of! Anyone who has the pleasure of crossing paths with him knows that he has a special way of making people feel welcome and smile!
Thank you for being part of the Greyhound family and for helping make Throckmorton a special place to call home!

Mr. Ben Ridgley is new to the Greyhound family this year!
Mr. Ridgley brings an impressive 16 years of experience in teaching and coaching to Throckmorton CISD. His passion for education, athletics, and helping students succeed makes him a wonderful addition to our school and community.
We are excited to have the Ridgley family here and all the great things Mr. Ridgley is already bringing to our students and programs!

We are excited to shine the spotlight on Mrs. Cassidy Balthrop, our 4th and 5th Grade ELAR Teacher and Dyslexia Coordinator at TCISD!
Mrs. Balthrop is passionate about helping students discover the joy and power of reading and writing. Through her dedication, encouragement, and commitment to meeting students where they are, she creates a classroom where every learner has the opportunity to grow, build confidence, and succeed.
As our Dyslexia Coordinator, Mrs. Balthrop also plays an important role in supporting students and helping ensure they receive the tools, strategies, and encouragement they need to thrive. Her commitment to advocating for students makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our learners and families.
We are so thankful to have Mrs. Balthrop as part of the Throckmorton ISD family! Her heart for students, love of literacy, and dedication to education are truly appreciated.
Thank you, Mrs. Balthrop, for all you do to help our students learn, grow, and shine!
