The Lady Hounds golf team has earned a spot in the regional tournament after an impressive performance at the district contest, finishing in second place. Congratulations to our outstanding golfers—Mareesa Escalon, Cindy Cunningham, Sydnee Koonsman, Kaylee Woods, and Braelyn Carter—as well as their dedicated coach, Mr. Rudy Leal.
We would also like to extend a special thanks to Mrs. Britnee Woods for her continued support and encouragement throughout the season.
The Lady Hounds will travel to Mount Pleasant on April 14th-15th to compete in the regional round. This team has steadily improved with each tournament, showing remarkable growth and determination. Following a state tournament appearance last year, the team is hopeful to return and contend for top honors once again.
We are proud of the way these young ladies have represented our district, both on and off the course. Their success is a shining example of the value of extracurricular activities in shaping the lives and character of our students. Best of luck to the Lady Hounds in Mount Pleasant!
