Meet Ms. Ray

Welcome to my web page! I am currently the math teacher and co-sponsor for cheerleading at Throckmorton High School. This is my third year of teaching and I love it so much! I graduated high school from Throckmorton in 1998 and then Tarleton State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting. I have always loved math but after working in accounting for four years I realized that sitting at a desk all day was not for me! I contacted Mr. Hogue in April of 2006 about the high school math position and upon approval from the school board I started an alternative certification program. I became completely certified in September of 2007. I am truly blessed to be teaching at such a wonderful school and my alma mater! I love being involved and busy!

But... I will be leaving after this year because I am engaged and will be getting married June 13, 2009! Robert and I will then live in Guthrie, Texas where his family's ranch is located.

Last but definitely not least....I have a precious four year old little boy, Hadley. He is the biggest greyhound fan ever! The picture above is him before a playoff game last year with purple hair....compliments of one of our cheerleaders! He is enrolled in the Pre-K class here at Throckmorton Elementary.
