Dr. Seuss Days
by Ashley Zboril
March 03, 2010
Students from the Mrs. Zboril’s senior English class helped Mrs. Carter’s first grade class celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday. The students read The Foot Book by Dr. Seuss to the first graders. Afterwards, they helped the first grade students make their own footprint by painting the bottom of their feet and stamping them on a poster. Though a little messy, it was a lot of fun! While the footprints were drying, both the high school students and first graders played the popular game Twister. Other teachers and classes will be sharing more of Seuss’s famous books to the first graders throughout the rest of the week.
